Yuletide! It's kind of a big deal.
Yuletide opened yesterday! Yuletide is a gen, het, and slash multifandom secret fiction exchange for obscure or rarely written fandoms, and every year it produces a massive amount of EXCELLENT fic in, like, hundreds of fandoms. This year they were over 2167 participants! Authors remain anonymous until the big reveal.

het_reccers is extending it's "Holiday Themed Challenge" until January 10th, and now includes all Yuletide fics. I strongly, strongly encourage everybody over here to check it out. Also, yuletide is currently open for people to post fic recs: you can find recs, or you can cross-post recs. ;)
