Blurb: Chloe: Hmmm, this is hard. There are many different things I love about Chloe's character on the show. I admire her desire to seek out the truth, her forthrightness, her loyalty to her family and friends. She's funny, smart and brave. She's also, nosey, bossy and thinks that she always knows best. What? I didn't say that she is perfect! I absolutely love the fact that she is a blank canvas, and isn't tied into the mythos. I honestly think that she makes Smallville.
Mythos, to me, is boring. It's predestined, and again, boring! (Unless, it is a Chlois story we are talking about. Did I mention that I love Chloe? lol) I love that in fandom you are able to explore different pairings.
Chloe / Clark: This was the first pairing that I read, and if I had to pick an OTP this would be it. Season 9 jerk!Clark kinda dimmed my love for this pairing, but I have hope that they will, at least, regain their friendship before the last season is over. Up until Season 9, I loved Clark and Chloe's relationship. They may not have always seen eye-to-eye, but they respected each other enough to work through their differences. They were always there for each other and had great chemistry.
I, basically, want Clark for Chloe because she wanted him so much. (If that makes any sense at all.) I rooted for her to end up with the guy that she (not-so-)secretly pined away for. And, early!Season!Clark? He was (absolutely adorable), kind, sweet, pretty innocent, and so clueless that you wanted smack him in the back of the head. lol

Why This Must Be Read: EPIC! This was the first story I read in this fandom, and it hooked me completely. This story veers off canon after season 6 - which, in my mind, makes the story more interesting. The dynamic between Chloe and Clark/Kal is very intriguing and brings up some valid questions re: just how separate the two identities are. I hope that you enjoy this story as much as I did.

Chloe / Bart: This is more of a rare pair, so whenever I come across this pairing I'm extremely happy. I wasn't expecting to love this pairing as much as I do, but I can totally see how Bart could be good for Chloe. Chloe is what I would consider a Type A personality, whereas, Bart is definitely a Type B. They could balance each other out. He's be able to get her to relax and have fun and she could help him focus on the tasks at hand. I love the fact that he has had a crush on her throughout the show. I think he would really be a good match for her.
