het_reccers | Round 4: Character Manifesto Sign Ups (Reply)

het_reccers presents the fourth round of a project designed to show off your fan favorites! It's been over six months since our previous three rounds of Shipper Manifestos, and they were resounding successes.

Got a favorite character? That one character that you just absolutely adore beyond all reason and rationale? Well, time to REPRESENT! Do a Character Manifesto! This is a public declaration of fannish love for a particular character, male or female, and our comm is centered around - you guessed it - fanfiction recommendations! All recs must be het centric; OTPs (one true pairings) or multishipping welcome!

Timeline:
Sign ups - open until the end of the challenge!
DEADLINE: Manifests should be posted to the comm by no later than July 31st. (We're serious about this deadline!) You can start submitting anytime.

Sign-ups: So, you've got a character in mind, right?
→ Sign up to claim it by dropping a note to this post! List the fandom and the full name of the character.
→ First come, first serve - only one person can claim a character at a time. All characters are welcome.
→ You cannot sign up for the same character you signed up for in Round 3.
→ You may sign up for one character. No more.
→ You must be willing to rec at least 10 fanfiction recommendations. Only under dire circumstances (as in, there is just a dearth of good fic) should you rec less than ten.
→ You must include a blurb about the character. Essays, picspams, quotes, etc. No limit on length as long as your manifesto fits in one post.
→ If you want to include a banner/graphic for your character, it must be less than 400 x 250 pixels to go above the LJ-Cut. Otherwise, it goes with the blurb and recs underneath the lj-cut.
→ All recs must be het centric; rec only one pairing, or you can multiship. Both are welcome!
→ Wait, what about gen fics? Though we all love gen fics, the spirit of this comm is centered around pairings, so we ask that you keep the recs with UST/RST only.

Use one of the following templates to make your Manifesto post. Either list your top TEN recs of said character, using a truncated version of our standard

het_reccers format, OR you can use an alternative template, which asks for a variety of different types of fics. (i.e. Alternative Reality, Best Angst, Best Smut.) If you don't think you've got enough variety to pull off the second template, you can always use the first standard one which asks for 10 recs of any flavor. ;) Because we're asking you to rec, at minimum, 10 fics, we've truncated the rec template to make it easier to fill out. Both templates are HTML format, so you can cut/paste for easy use!

Also, feel free to rec more than 10!
