Why This Must Be Read: This is the couple that very much should have been on the show My Boys. This sweet and funny story subtly twists a few events from the first season of the show to give us a different outcome to the PJ and Brendan relationship arc. I was a last-minute beta reader for this fic and it was like getting a sneak preview to a story I had always wanted to read: full of easy banter, their missed chance at a relationship years before in college, and lots of wonderful BFF roommate feelings.
