Why This Must Be Read | (Post: Kill Ari Pt. 2) There are so many reasons why this fic shouldn't work. The pov used, the fact that said pov is a random stranger we've never met on the show before, the material itself. BUT IT SO TOTALLY AND COMPLETELY DOES. I've lost count of the amount of times I've revisited this fic. The characterisation of Tony is jaw-dropping. The grasp of his reaction to what happened to Kate is even better, the way it is contrasted with other parts of this story. Told through the eyes of a stranger, it's easy to imagine you (the reader) are the one sitting there, watching it all unfold. AMAZING. For real.
