Why This Must Be Read: It's told from Topher's point of view which is usually interesting if it's done right which it is here. I saw the pairing-ness in this fic but it is a bit subjective. It deals with what Adelle and Topher did immediately following blowing up Tuscon. It's hard for me to explain why I like this fic I just think it deals with a lot of the issues and reasons why Topher and Adelle are such a great match and work so well together. It's not long and definitely worth a read.

Why This Must Be Read: Hands down the best Topher/Adelle fic I've read. I just feel like this is something that could very easily be slid into place in the canon storyline. It's honest, practical and inevitable which is in my opinion very much of what makes Topher/Adelle so great in the first place. I read this one again and again even though I only found it a few days ago. If you only read one of the fics on this list read this one.

Why This Must Be Read: Oh my feelings towards this fic are somewhat complicated but overall I keep coming back to it and re-reading it because it doesn't take the easy way out which a lot of fanfics do I find. It is, admittedly, a slower start but it gets there and the last half of the fic is spot-on. My issue with the first little bit of the fic is that it tastes a bit out of character to me however, I think the actions of the fic are completely believable and correct for the series. I am the out of character Nazi so my feelings on it should be taken with a grain of salt but overall I must say that it's worth a read and it just makes you want to ship Topher/Adelle so much more.

Why This Must Be Read: This was the very first Adelle/Topher fanfiction I ever read and a good thing too because it's simply lovely. It was written before the season 2 premiere and it deals with the blurring lines of friendship and romance that we've always seen with Adelle and Topher. It's like when their secret selves come out to play. However, it's remarkably in character and they're playing chess. Adelle and Topher would so play chess. It's sweet without being fluffy and it just leaves you wanting to write fic about this fic.
