Why This Must Be Read: I love how the author didn't put Castle as the guilty one over what happened in the season finale as most of the other post S2 fics I've read have. She actually has him coming back and it's not just him the one having to get on Beckett's good side again. She hurt him as much as he hurt her and he kind of resent her, tries to not get too close to her so he doesn't get hurt again. I love how this fic picks two characters that don't really know where they stand, how they fit in the other person's life and builds on from there beautifully.

Why This Must Be Read: I'm not that much of a fan of fics where a major character dies but I gave this a chance because sometimes, when the author is THAT great, you just have to drawn your complains in whatever you have near, suck it up, and read it. I'm so glad I did it because this fic is THAT good. It deals with Martha's death and how Castle takes it. All this from Beckett POV.

Why This Must Be Read: Great Beckett characterization. I can really see them kissing and then have her taking two step back even though she openly admits that there's something between them. And I'm completely in love with the scene between the "Castles", Martha's experienced understanding and the "red colored glasses" way Alexis sees the situation her father is in. And then there's, of course, the way Beckett apologizes, espectacular, really, really cute.

Why This Must Be Read: The teasing. I love how the author plays with the characters in the same way they play between them on the show itself. This is really funny, and sexy, and beautifully written and every other compliment you can think of. There's a moment towards the end when it kind of breaks your heart a little but fear not, because it glues it back together perfectly.

Why This Must Be Read: Leaving aside the fact the I love every Caskett fic this girl has written, this fic it's amazing. It's from Castle POV, about how he tries to descifer her, tries to understand her. Besides it has a perfect comeback to the whole backing out after making out “If this is one of those I-don’t-want-to-ruin-what-we-have things, you might as well save it because I don’t believe in them.” And, of course, a good Caskett banter doesn't hurt either...

Why This Must Be Read: One of the best post S2 finale fics I've read. And yes, this one is one of those where the author makes it so Castle seems the "bad one" for leaving, where he's the one having to ask for forgiveness but the author does it so beautifully that even to those who don't agree with that turns of events, this is a fantastic fic.

Why This Must Be Read: To me, lately, it's all been about Castle, the character, I mean. It's been difficult watching him know that he's in love with Beckett and not being able to do anything about it and so this fic for people like me (wondering what he's thinking in each situation) is perfect. It deals with the aftermath of Countdown in a really beautiful way and the bits with the memories from his childhood is really nicely done, fit's perfectly and adds something great to the end result.

Why This Must Be Read: This is such an amazing fic, seriously. Remember that episode in which Castle and Beckett get stuck on a freezer? (Dumb questios, of course you'd remember) Well in this one, they also get stuck on a freezer but it plays out completely different, and in my opinion a whole way better. At least they find a way to get warmy. Their banter during the whole "stuck" scene is priceless.

Why This Must Be Read: I always find AU a little difficult to love because it is just that little bit harder to write, to get right. I'm not oppossed to AUs, but I need the characters to still be THEM. OOC in a canon fic is awfull, but in an AU it's a total deal breaker for me because you might as well just change the names of the characters and be reading some other thing completely... But this fic is ABSOLUTELY amazing in that way. Beckett is the writer and Castle the cop but they are still totally them. Beckett is all no no-sense kinda girl and he's his irritable-funny self. Totally worth reading!

It's a whirlwind of feelings and emotions that leaves you exhausted and in need of someone who understand. That's what this fic deas with. There's bantering, and convesations (real, about important things conversations) and sleepovers. In one word; perfect.
