Why This Must Be Read: First, it's probably the cutest pairing in the Stargate verse, and even Elizabeth said so in-universe (and John totally rooted for them too). Of course, TPTB had to go and messed it up, as always. Still, it's a beautiful pairing, and it could have been great if they hadn't split them up and killed Carson (still can't forgive them for the mess that was s3.5 onwards with him and Elizabeth). This fic is beautiful, and it shows that Laura is there for Carson when he needs her. It's well-written, the characters are spot on, in a word, awesome!
