Why This Must Be Read: Besides the fact that all ofabvj 's work is what made me REALLY love this pairing, this fic is so lovely. Giving us the little hidden moments during season 5 between these two characters, and their relationship that nobody saw coming, including themselves. I love how she writes both Mark and Lexie, especially them together. This is a good intro fic for them, but really read the author's other works. So good. And because it's special rec I'm going to cheat a bit and link back to another fic from the same author, about the same pairing, that I've posted on the comm before. The Long Way Home (NC-17).
