Author’s Summary: Mary and Marshall attempt to recover a witness who has fled into a deadly mine.

Why This Must Be Read: While the author labels this as just ‘partner-fic’, I think it is so much more than that. The connection between Mary and Marshall is so, so strong that if they revealed only a fraction of this on the show, I’d probably pass out. The dialogue is smart and fast-paced, the setting is extremely unique and scary as all get-out. But, what shines in this fic is how much Mary and Marshall love, trust and depend on each other. I want to see this fic on the show. Now. This definitely fills Challenge 58.

So I was going to do a pretty pretty banner and a major picspam. That kinda got derailed on account of I discovered that my newish laptop doesn't have any photoediting software, and my internet connection is slooooooow and uploading even one pic takes like five minutes. And I found this out after I spent several days rewatching the whole series and making screencaps (Woe... ;D) So. Here, just have the 1, 000+ words of fangeekery I had already written at the time of my unfortunate discovery.

Why This Must Be Read: Robin's the mother. So I guess Ted's just been dicking his kids around with this whole epic story. The up side is, his son will still one day grow up to look like David Henrie. I'm a little bit ridiculously in love with this story, because unlike 99% of the fandom, Robin/Ted remains my favored ship (besides the OTP of Marshall/Lily, of course). Read this if you're at all interested in their dynamic.
