Why This Must Be Read: allaire wrote 37 drabbles for the Christmax calendar 2010 and each fleshes out canon by way of exploring a perceived Brenda & Andy-shippy subtext as the author states. She gives with a few sentences a completely different picture of the scenes and voices Flynn's and Brenda's inner thoughts so in-character, that - after reading all 37 - one could start to think that the show has a subtle F/B undertone.

Why This Must Be Read: abracax wrote this story for a picture challenge at the Closer Forum and it is the first story I ever read for this pairing. It is also responsible for making me ship them. She did such a brilliant job, creating a whole story around a single picture, with sarcastic Flynn and annoyed Brenda (there are no sweets. It's like hell.) that somehow manage to find common ground through a tiny cactus flower.

She doesn't make it easy for him, clings to her humanity, struggles with her vampire side, and that is one of the reasons I truly love this story. The intense chemistry between Frankie and Alison is an added bonus.

Why This Must Be Read: This pairing is one of those 'blink and you will miss it' ones. The only real interaction they have is in this one moment but one could write a whole book about what Vasquez meant when she said those words. blueflamefreak did a really great job giving them a background that's believeable and still in-character. I grin everytime I imagine Vasquez as a girl, scowling because he pulled her hair. <3

Why This Must Be Read: It's the first story of PB I ever read, before I even watched the show, and the chemistry/tension between Lincoln and Sara caught me right away. It's the way they struggle to keep their distance, to not give in, that fascinates me. And in the end they are far to similar, and the addiction to great to resist.
