Sarah is all grown up, and has one last broken thread in her life. Can Jareth fix it? Or maybe even show her that she is not broken at all? This story is a must read for Sarah/Jareth fans.

Why This Must Be Read: i've read a lot of labyrinth fic, which is kind of an exercise in self-flagellation all on its own. not because there aren't good writers and plot - there absolutely are - but because the story itself is so unsolvable. do you make jareth live as a boring human? does sarah leave her family for the underground forever? i'm never happy with either ending. this fic, i think, finds the delicate balance. also, it's super hot and beautifully written!

Why This Must Be Read: Sincerely, it's the overall best Labirinth fic I've ever read. Ten years later the events of the movie, Sarah is still haunted by disturbing memories...and fantasies.Until Jareth's mother, Jiann, calls her back the Underworld, to defend Jareth's right to rule. The fic gives a wonderful glimpse of Fae politics, and a convincing backstory of how Jareth ended up ruling his Goblins, and it goes ahead taking an unexpected twist again and again.The unfolding relationship between Sarah and Jareth is surprisingly mature and wonderfully complex and the background 'mythology' gives the plot a mesmerizing depth. Plus, Jiann is AWESOME.

This is my first rec here - sorry if I've done anything wrong, but when I saw someone had asked for Jareth/Sarah recs, and discovered this one hadn't been mentioned here yet, I had to do something. :)

I won't spoil what happens, because of the aforementioned epic-ness, but it is well worth the read if you've got an evening to spare.

Why This Must Be Read: I love this story so much that I actually downloaded it so that I could still read it if FFN ever died. It's one of those magical stories that's full of all sorts of tired fandom cliches but never once feels like it. From start to finish it's realistically and beautifully written and, amazingly, is almost entirely Jareth and Sarah alone together with no big jumps in time or boring bits. I seriously cried the first time I read it (and possibly every other subsequent time). Plus, it's a Christmas fic!
