Why This Must Be Read: Author's summary: Incarceration is merely a minor inconvenience when Hannibal Lecter begins playing a delicate game with Clarice Starling. This is a very unusally dark story for me to read, especially considering the pairing. But the author does a beautiful job of just drawing you into a graceful and yet strangely inevitable dance between Hannibal and Clarice. It is a subtle story that is told from both pov's which is beautiful because we get to see how Clarice and Hannibal see each other and how they see their relationship. But what I really love about it is the fact that Clarice is not a victim, she is a strong woman who makes her own decisions and her own choices. I can't really get into to many specifics as it would give away to much but give this story a chance you won't regret it.

Why This Must Be Read: Michael Fassbender's thoughtful portrayal of the android David in the Alien prequel "Prometheus" made him even more intriguing to me than the space jockeys and primordial face huggers. I won't spoil the end of that film for people who haven't seen it, but this fic picks up where it left off, and builds a haunting and believable relationship between a woman who is torn between science and faith and a machine who is slowly, beautifully, tragically becoming a man. Highly recommended.

Why This Must Be Read: Molly finding her inner strength (and inner darkness) is a common Molliarty theme. This story, set during Scandal in Belgravia, is an excellent example. It is unflinching in portraying Molly's weakness but brilliant in showing her tapping into that fierce core that Molly fans believe in. And it's dark and sexy in a very unexpected way.
