Gwen and Arthur are both excellently written, both complex and compelling, and their romance is full of both beauty and sadness, the seeds of its own destruction always there, just beneath the surface. Spoilers up to 2.04 Lancelot and Guinevere.

Why This Must Be Read: Gwen and Arthur are wonderful in this fic, as Gwen watches Arthur become "the man she sees inside him", in her own canon words. Gwen grows too over the course of these eleven instances, and the growth of their love is beautiful. The supporting appearances of Merlin and Morgana also serve to make the story wonderful. Spoilers for Season 2 episodes and promos.
