Why This Must Be Read: This is a pretty new fandom so almost every pairing is a rare pairing at this point, but this is the first fic I've seen with Bonnie/Stefan. Bonnie hasn't been paired with any characters on the show, but her scenes with Stefan inspired this story, which is one of the reasons it works so well. The author sticks to Stefan's POV which is a brilliant choice, because she does a great job of capturing his voice, more so than the show has at this point in some ways. He's an old soul here, but he's got a serious dark side which Bonnie brings out in him. Her powers are used as a dramatic device and erotic kink in a way that made me wish this would play out as an actual episode. Just a great, tightly written story. Here's an excerpt.
