Why This Must Be Read: This rec boils down too: IT'S REALLY ADORABLE. Morgana going ~dark side in season three has not been an easy transition to watch and this flips the switch on that. Diverting from canon in 3x03, "Goblin's Gold", it begins with Merlin making a very important decision: he's going to befriend Morgana again. Whether she likes it or not. It is a bumpy and amusing ride. This is a fun romp in the What Could Have Been and honestly how I wish part of the season had gone.

Why This Must Be Read: After the last scene of "Aliyah" every Ziva fan and every Tony/Ziva were practically salivating at what would happen next. This fic is just amazing in giving us a look at one way the rescue could have gone, to Ziva's recovery, to the aftermath of being taken back to NCIS. And even though Tony doesn't make an appearance in the fic until the end of part one you can feel his presence in Ziva's life (and thoughts)  as she starts moving on and getting her life back.
