It's a beautiful exploration of who Fujimoto might have been as a human, and how he could have met Granmammare. Granmammare is unearthly and intensely lovable at the same time, and Fujimoto is shy and charming. It is rated "mature" for sexuality but the scene is very tasteful and atmospheric. A wonderful prequel to the film.
(Note to mod: I am fairly certain Fujimoto has no other name, though he is given one in the fic, and Granmammare definitely doesn't.)
