Why This Must Be Read: And West to the Moon is actually a series of three fics. I would have recced the first one the moment I finished reading it, but I thought it better to wait until the rest of the series was posted. And let me tell you that all three fics are amazing. It shows the slow and natural progression of their relationship in Storybrooke after Belle is freed from the hospital. These are the best fanfictions for this pairing as of now. If you've fallen in love with these two, you'll love this series, I can guarantee you.

I know the other pairings for this show were listed with the Storybrooke names for the characters, but I listed it as Belle/Rumpelstiltskin as we don't know Belle's name in Storybrooke for the moment. ;)

Why This Must Be Read: THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH MOMENTS IN MY LIFE for me to explain why you need to read this. The characterizations are spot on. The historical detail (and accuracy) is STAGGERING. The tension is NEARLY UNBEARABLE a lot of the time. EVERYONE is in it. And it is ENORMOUS.

I do recommend that you start with Ascension of the Queen, and read the stories in the order they were written. It feels more like seasons of TV that way. :)

PLUS, it has this SHINY TRAILER, care of sache8.

Why This Must Be Read: salr323 is one of the best writers around, and her Jack/Elizabeth fics are especially superb. With effective writing, pitch-perfect dialogue, moving character developments, and lovely historical insights, salr323 takes the end of At World's End and shows how Jack and Elizabeth's story's might have continued on. This is a wonderful conclusion to the trilogy, and one that I know a lot of Jack/Elizabeth fans probably hoped for.

Why This Must Be Read: Perhaps one of my favorite genderbending Merlin fics ever. lady_ragnell recreates the first series of the show with a born-a-girl!Merlin, and one that finds a way to inspire Arthur Pendragon to become a better, greater man despite the difference in their circumstances. From start to finish, the story will make you smile. Such a sweet fic.
