Fandom Category: House, M.D.
Pairing: House/Cuddy
Fic Title: Perverse and Prism
Author: Gidget89
Link: Perverse: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3726789/1/Perverse and Prism: http://www.fanfiction.net/s/3942674/1/Prism
Rating/Warning(s): PG-13; Babyficish, spoilers for House, MD season 2-3.
Genre: Romance, fixit/retelling, friendship, introspection.
WIP?: Complete.
Why This Must Be Read: I'm posting these two together as "Prism" is a sequel to "Perverse", and follows it directly. The thing I liked most about these stories is that they're basically a retelling/altering of season two and the beginning of season three, but they delve hard into both Lisa Cuddy and Greg House, without softening either of them. They're still very much themselves, but they are them going in a different direction. However, the reason I'll tout these hinder and yon as awesome, awesome stories is the prose involved. Gidget is a phenomenal wordsmith, and I'm always left clamoring for more. Especially because she's one of those brilliant authors who can handle an ensemble, even while keeping the focus on her leads.
