Why This Must Be Read: Ariadne, Arthur, and a particularly unpleasant mark. For the first time in three years, Ariadne makes a mistake. Kelly Hendricks—corporate head-hunter; latest mark; sadistic murderer—makes her pay for it. This is pretty amazing. Gorgeously nuanced, the imagery is so effective. The plot was something new and really well handled. It's messy and gorgeous and real, the description, the dialogue, the characters... I really love the grit of this.

Why This Must Be Read: An original character point of view. she is the woman of your dreams; the key word here is dreams. I just loved the unique take on this, not only the OC POV but also how things looked from the outside coming in. Great voices, and nice detail.
