Why this must be read: Because this look at how Natasha feels and thinks feels utterly right and true to her on-screen character. Both characters are brilliantly and three-dimensionally drawn with great humour. He's not just comic relief and she's not just a sexy emotionless assassin. The author found terrific little character moments and ideas that just made me smile and made them feel so real. When I saw Iron Man 2 and the scenes featuring these two, this is the sort of fic I really wanted to read afterwards and I'm glad I found it.
