Why This Must Be Read: This is hotter than fire on a wire; I'll let this bit from the story speak as my rec: Sam fucking Winchester. Hell if she doesn't feel like some desperate old broad, eyeing this kid like he ain't only a couple of years older than her daughter. Been on the darker side of forty some years now and the only thing that surprises her more than how much things change is how much they stay the same. One thing's the same, that's for sure.
