Admin help - Anime Names in Tagging

It's come to my attention that we've been doing things a little backwards when it comes to tagging anime names. Apparently normal convention in most Japanese fandoms is to refer to the characters as last name-first name, but in this comm we've always done it First name-Last Name for tagging purposes. Honestly, I don't particularly care which way it goes, as long as there's consistency and it's easy enough to find. It's a little disconcerting that I've only just recently realized that a great many number of tags for certain anime fandoms have been duplicated. (i.e. Haruno Sakura/Rock Lee or Sakura Haruno/Rock Lee)

So, please advise on how to proceed. I know nothing about anime.
