Why This Must Be Read: The characters are what make The Office what it is. Each is unique, with a distinct and colorful personality. Impressively, this fic manages to bring them to life in a way that stays true to the show - so much so that it's easy to visualize the actors you read this. This story will have you smiling and laughing, just like you do when you watch it on television. Very sweet and very well-written.

It's lovely Sara/Grissom, with the two of them having such a lovely & strong connection, but scared to take the final step into a relationship. It's also a fabulous Sara story itself, with interesting backstory for her, and a lot of the story is about her finding & understanding herself alone, as well as with Grissom.

Why This Must Be Read: This fic was just posted less than two hours ago. Fasted rec in the short comm's history, I suspect. ;) This is a telling of everybody's characterization and viewpoint during The Real World, with an extra shippery-overtone. Though, honestly, the episode itself was basically a shipper's dream. It's part of a series called Learning to Fly, but I haven't read that (yet) and I followed this piece as a perfect standalone. I absolutely loved the characterization here as she went through the entire ep. Very well written.
