Why This Must Be Read: I enjoy Dark!Harry fics, but I've never found a story concerning Dark!Harry/Dark!Ginny until now. Potteraholic begins this story in Book Four and takes it in a very entertaining direction. After both Ron and Hermione turn away from Harry, Harry and Ginny become friends and begin making their own plans for their future, using their young age and the adults' inclination to underestimate them to their own advantage. The story doesn't portray Hermione, Ron, and Dumbledore in the best of lights, but if you enjoy dark!fic and watching Harry Potter and Ginny Weasley manipulate the Wizarding world, you'll definitely enjoy this story.

Why This Must Be Read: Because the author brings us inside Marie's head and the result is just heartbreaking. This is someone who knows that she can never be normal, and as a result has decided not to think about what "could be" because it's too painful. The symmetry of the counting, the imagery of the falling rain; not to mention the absolutely steaming encounter between Logan and Marie even without any skin-to-skin contact.

Why This Must Be Read: This story is epic. It is a complete retelling of the Lord of the Rings saga with Tim Drake and Cassandra Cain inserted. Moreover, it's done well. Cass and Tim are 100% themselves, and the comics, book, and movie canon are melded together nearly seamlessly. Moreover, the relationship between Cass and Tim is so beautifully organic in the way that it begins, grows, and develops. The story is also breathlessly addictive, and even those who know the framework of LotR will get a few surprises. Basically it's... epic.
