Why This Must Be Read: Because today, being Christmas, this is the perfect fic for anyone that likes this pairing. It's an AU where John Sheppard never joined the Atlantis expedition, when Elizabeth Weir, visiting Earthside, gets stranded in his snow covered cabin. The UST is wonderful, characterization of John in particular is fascinating as - without Atlantis - he's an isolated character. He really doesn't like Christmas much, but too bad, because he's stuck with Elizabeth who seems stubborn to make the best out of their situation.
