Why This Must Be Read: Consort is one of those stories that stays in your head after you read it, percolating in the back of your brain. Artaxastra is a gifted writer and gives the reader detailed and well-planned exposition on Wraith culture - something not seen in much fanficton - and how complicated relationships become when you blur the boundary between wraith and human. The story is intoxicating and pushes the limits of mind-play in attraction and love. Definitely a great story to check out!
