Summary: Neither knows if they'll have more than those stolen moments, but each feels those moments are worth more than, well, diamonds. Are they as hard to break? It just keeps going and going.
Rating/Warning(s): Hard PG-13 for language and sexual connotation (these kids are in high school after all)
Genre: Romance/Drama
WIP?: Yes. As of today, 25 chapters, 170,000+ words and counting.

Why This Must Be Read: Because this story is one of the best I ever have read in ALL of my fandoms, not just BC.Opening immediately after the movie ends, this story takes on the well worn question of what happens next and just turns it on it head. Everyone is perfectly in character, every line of dialogue, every expression, every emotion; it's almost like the movie never ended and the camera was just on and candysays is just writing what occurs next. While the story's main focus is on Claire and Bender's up and down, sharp-edged lust for each other (which is done so perfectly WELL), it  doesn't neglect the other three BC members and their developing relationship (in fact, one of my favorite parts of this story is the Allison and Claire friendship). The chapters are nice and long and combine enough deep friendship, sexual tension, humor and angst to make anyone happy. Bender and Claire are still themselves but more fleshed out and the author does a brilliant job of handling their relationship: the defensiveness, fearfulness, deep desire and the longing. Believe me when I say this story is worth checking out.
