Icon(s) for a Header

het_reccers is gonna do a new header, but with a twist. We want a large variety of ships represented. So, your task, should you choose to accept it, is this: Please submit icons of your favorite het pairings! The mods will select from the collection up to a total of 30 icons, of 30 different ship pairings, and we'll create a shiny header from them. Nifty idea, right?
So, start submitting icons now!!

Why This Must Be Read: Because it is one of the most beautiful pieces of fanfiction ever written. It helps that the author picked one of the most beautiful poems ever written, but she takes Edna St. Vincent Millay's Dirge Without Music and makes it her own. The poetry is weaved so elegantly and subtly throughout the story that you barely notice that it's really the poem. It's got angst and darkness and defeat, which are almost always present at some point in a great Remus/Tonks fic, but it's also got hope and joy and romance and a little bit of fluff at the end (but the good kind of fluff, the realistic kind), and she blends them together so well that they don't contrast each other so much as they compliment each other. She nailed Remus and Tonks in this fic, both their broken parts and their strength, and her Tonks is such a strong, hopeful yet broken soldier that you almost physically ache for things to work out in the end.

So basically, if you are a fan of poetry, angst, hope, Remus/Tonks, good fanfiction, great characterization and awesome things in general, you should check out this fic and everything else this author has ever written.
