Why This Must Be Read: Set in the nebulous post-Season 2/pre-Season 3 time, Devon and Sarah chat while the Bartowski siblings engage in their annual Christmas screening of The Twilight Zone.   They also drink eggnog, which results in possibly the most hilarious back-and-forth I've read in a while.  You don't really have to read past "1 am," to be honest, but it is well, well worth your time to go up to that point.  I'd also be totally up for filling in some of the blanks in their conversation...you'll see why.

Why This Must Be Read: Okay, I too was skeptical of the sheer notion of Futurama fic when I first stumbled onto it.  Frankly, I'm still a little skeptical of the sheer notion of fic based on cartoons, especially explicit fic.  But gems like this prove that it can be done well, while keeping everyone in character, being hilarious, and verging on kinda hot.  Special appearance by Lrr, ruler of Omicron Persei 8.

Why This Must Be Read: A simple prompt: "Lilah is Angel's liaison to the Senior Partners." And honestly, who here didn't want that to be how s5 went down? But this fic has wonderful prose and fills in the what if of this scenario, highlighting the messy complication of the s5 memory erase that Wesley and the others went through, and how that effects the relationship Lilah has with him. It's messy, and achy and very, very real - just like their relationship in canon. Love this fic so much.
