Why This Must Be Read: I initially clicked on the link because I love reading stories from an outsider point of view, but [Bad username or site: @ livejournal.com] does such an amazing job making Molly and Alec characters in their own right that you can't help becoming emotionally invested in them. Don't let the original characters scare you off, this is a great piece that deserves to be read.

Why This Must Be Read: I read Encyclopedia Brown books when I was a kid and loved them.  In this story we get to see Encyclopedia and Sally go to college, get first jobs, and try to figure out their place in the world as grown-ups.  Of course along the way they solve a few cases.  This story felt like a continuation from the books, it is well written and satisfying.  It is a wonderful walk down memory lane.  Enjoy!  :)
