Why This Must Be Read: You never really see Joanna Tywin in the book and odds are the same will go for the show but the presence of, especially when talking about Tywin is so incredibly felt. She's describe Tywin's most trusted advisor and the only person who had or has had any measure of influence over him. It's even stated that after her death "the best part of him died with her". This fic is an incredibly written tale of their partnership and it's very easy to imagine it occurred just like this.

Why This Must Be Read: I came across this series by accident but it's been one of the best ones. I know very little of this series outside the films, but this fic makes me interested I have to say. An AU series of interconnected drabbles that are based on the sole idea of: what if Bella grew up in Forks. The drabbles start out when Bella is very young and continue on as she grows up, raised by her dad, and by association the Black family. Lovely snap shots from Bella's child hood being raised alongside the Black children and Leah Clearwater (so good in this fic!) and how it shapes her life. Jacob and Bella happen later on in the fic, but really, the fic is wonderful exploration of the connection they had children and how it evolves into something deeper as they grow.
