Why This Must Be Read: One of 2011's paperlegends responses, this is a gorgeous AU fic. Branching off from canon at the beginning of Merlin's third series, the story focuses on Arthur's search for the traitor that sold Camelot out to Cenred and Morgause's forces. Arthur's relationship with Gwen is also given significant focus, and it's beautiful. The two of them are in that adorably awkward 'I like you' stage of their relationship, and watching Arthur try to court Gwen despite the distance they have to keep between each other in public is highly engrossing. The story has a multitude of plotlines that will keep you glued to your computer, and it's well worth the time to read.
