Why This Must Be Read:

I only started shipping Jaime/Sansa last year, hadn't read the books, but I watched the show. And I had tumblr to tell me what I needed to know...and I've been shipping them ever since. Bl4ckSun takes the story of Sansa, and puts a twist on it that is really wonderful in it's own way. I really can't say a lot without giving away the happenings of the books and/or the fic, but hopefully you'll like it.  Bl4ckSun doesn't update very often, the latest being about a week or so ago, so it's a few months between updates...sometimes longer, but it's worth it when it's updated, so worth it.

Why This Must Be Read: Would that all author-declared "crack" fics were this good! I enjoy seeing straight-forward characters show a different side, something canon doesn't always have the page count to give us, and this fic does that very well with Zaraki. While the fic is apparently abandoned, it's still a delight to read. And I really want a Zaraki-made bunny!

Why This Must Be Read: This story is such a perfect snapshot of the Spaced we all know and love with a gentle crossover/parody of the X-Files thrown in for good measure. This was my Yuletide present this year, and I couldn't have asked for a better one - it's hilarious and sweet and does that pop-culture thing that Spaced was so, so good at.

“I thought I’d be Mulder,” he explained to Mike, as they swung back and forth, ignoring the rapidly forming queue of six year olds and their increasingly irate parents. “If Daisy’s Scully, it only makes sense that I’d be Mulder.”
