Why This Must Be Read: This story was written as a Yule exchange request for a story about an arranged hobbit marriage. Dana managed the request beautifully, making it seem plausible in spite of the premise, and still managed to craft a gentle story about love and getting to know one another. The story is told from Estella's POV, and she comes to realize a lot of things about her new husband. She also does wonderfully with innuendo, proving that a story about a honeymoon does not have to be explicit.
