Rating/Warning(s): T/PG-13; descriptions of violent deaths due to a natural disaster in Chapter Eleven.
Genre: Drama/Romance
WIP?: No
Why This Must Be Read: Going AU after Curse of the Black Pearl, The Curse of the White Sword opens with Elizabeth and Will preparing for their marriage, must to the consternation of her father. What happens sends Will and Elizabeth on another pirate adventure that will reunite them with Jack Sparrow and introduce them to a man long-thought dead. A wonderful story of how pirates don't necessarily look like Jack Sparrow the the Black Pearl's crew, an excellent lesson on why pirates never pilfer from a ship they did not sink themselves, and an all-around great adventure story. Jocelyn wrote this before Dead Man's Chest came out, and it remains one of my favorites to this day. An excellent story worth your time.
