Why This Must Be Read:
What happened between Rhodey finding Tony in the dessert and Tony finally arriving at the airport? This story answers that question. It’s told from Rhodey’s POV and It’s more a Tony fic than a Pepper/Tony story but the little glimpses you get about them are amazing.
