One of the special requests was for Peter/Olivia, so I decided I'd fulfill that request seeing as I read entirely too much fic for this pairing. Hope everyone enjoys! =D

Why This Must Be Read: This is a beautiful look into how Peter and Olivia's relationship developed between "6B" and "Os" (including an explanation of how the "full disclosure" game came about) that rings so true-to-character that it feels like canon. The author captures the softness and intimacy of Peter and Olivia's relationship so poignantly.
"Olivia," he says, his voice slightly hoarse with desire. Not just for her and him and a bed, she knows. For her as an anchor, to keep him from drifting. Just as she wants him to be a buoy, keeping her afloat. For a life between them, not just a life for each of them.

Why This Must Be Read: This is way more than just fluffy domestic goodness (but it is that too, which is such a treat!). This is Olivia working through some of her uncertainties and fears over her new relationship with Peter. This is her truly cementing herself as part of this "odd little family unit" that includes not only her and Peter but Walter as well. I think the dynamic between the main three is the best relationship on the show meaning Peter and Olivia can't exist without Walter as a father to both of them.
She drew these two men together and forced them, sometimes painfully, to build their own warped version of a family. To get to Walter, she’d needed Peter; to have Peter now, she cannot exclude Walter. They’re a package deal. An If/Then statement.
It’s that simple.

Why This Must Be Read: This is a touching look at the married Peter and Olivia we only got a glimpse of in the finale. It addresses Walter's trial, how their marriage came about, and how Olivia came to control and accept her abilities (all things you saw in the finale that you wanted to know more about!) in a manner that I could very much see happen in that possible future.
After a long pause, he said, "The ability's there, whether you want it, or use it."
"Then why should I use it? What good's come of it so far?"
"Party tricks?" She could hear the laughter in his voice, and appreciated the touch of levity just when she needed it.
"A fallback career as a magician might be nice."
"The Great Olivini? You could pull off the top hat, I think." He kissed the crown of her head.

Why This Must Be Read: One of the best post-S3 finale fics I've read to date that sorts through the aftermath of that crazy bombshell of a cliffhanger we got. The author's writing is so sharp, witty, and evocative and while there's alot of Walter/Olivia (naturally given the finale!), there's still plenty of Peter/Olivia to go around that leaves you yearning for S4 to start already. The author takes the snarkiness of the Projection!Peter we got in early S3 and turns it up like twenty notches and it's such an enjoyable read.
She’s not prepared for the slow smile, the way it strips years from his face, or how her toes curl when he laughs. He stalks forward three paces, chest-to-chest, finger hooked under her chin. “Hello, gorgeous.” He smells like bed-sheets, warmth, bodies curled close, he smells like them, and Olivia, drugged, yearning, tilts forward to kiss him. She wakes up in the tank, bewildered and aching. “I think I lost something."

Why This Must Be Read: The most fleshed out and thorough portrayal of the future Peter and Olivia that we got in the finale. But the author, beyond spoiling us with scene after scene of how this possible future of theirs panned out, gives a very heartbreaking, touching, and intimate look at Peter and Olivia being there for one another through the ups and the downs (and boy, are there alot of downs) of a dying world. If married Peter and Olivia in the finale left you hungering for more, this is your fic.
Living in a crumbling world isn't without risk.
And yet, lost into the feel of her, when everything is entangled limbs, crumpled sheets and sweaty skin, he can tell that there is more on her mind than Fringe Events and massive blood loss.
When you spend so many years of your life with someone, you learn to read them and their body language, absorbing everything, knowing them by heart, better than you know the first words on the very first page of your favorite book.

Why This Must Be Read: There are alot of lovely "6B" fics out there that deal with what happens after Peter and Olivia make their way up those stairs, but this is one of my absolute favorites and just expands so strikingly on all the aspects of their relationship that were brought up in that episode (Olivia's fears of vulnerability and inferiority, Peter's fragile hope that Olivia can move past his transgressions). Bound to leave you satisfied if you needed a coda for that episode.
She didn't lie, when she said she was not afraid anymore; that doesn't mean she's not nervous too. But she sees the wonder in his eyes, feels the reverence of his touch on her skin, the delicate yet intense press of his lips against her own as his fingers make a trail towards her neck, and she can't keep the warm glow of affection from settling on her chest because she knows that he's choosing her. That perhaps it was never a choice, just a momentary, involuntary deviation on the road that has pitched them together in parallel orbits through probability and chance.

Why This Must Be Read: This is one of my favorite post-"Stowaway" fics. It's an alternate look at how Olivia could've been found again in her mind by Peter that's alot more P/O-centric and romantic than what we got in "LSD." There's alot of allusions/connections to previous episodes that make this fic so huggable to me.
Peter is not only afraid that Olivia won't wake up, but that when she does, he'll learn he's broken her heart. Walter has nothing if not terrible timing, and Peter can't stop thinking about Olivia, stuck in the confines of her hijacked mind, memory frozen to the moment right before the bell rang, where she learned his worst, most harrowing secret.
This pain hurts far worse than the sting of Walter implanting the Synaptic Transfer device. Astrid is doing the same thing to Olivia, hooking her up to all kinds of machines. Peter just watches, angry at the sight of Olivia's limp, pallid body.

Why This Must Be Read: I'm only 6/10 of the way through this fic, but what I've read thus far warrants a rec. I find it hard to find good case!fic for Fringe, but this is definitely one of the best I've encountered. It reads like an episode to me, and if the author didn't spoil us enough with fantastic characterizations of both Peter and Olivia, she also gives superb portrayals of Walter and Astrid. Her insights into each and every one of the characters and relationships are very striking, and in terms of Peter and Olivia you'll enjoy how much depth she gives to their dynamic as those two figure out how to navigate the intricacies and newness of a romantic relationship (the stuff that we didn't get to see much of on the show).
Putting her glasses down on the desk, Olivia leans over and brushes a hand over his hair, around his ear, content to just watch him for a minute. How easy it's been to slip into a relationship, to take that final step they've both wanted for so long. It's like a comfortable sweater, a loved jacket - warm, soft, but not too restricting. This isn't the adrenaline-fueled affair she had with John, spent hiding from sight in motels, keeping things quiet so no one else knew. There's something just as thrilling in being open, unashamed or embarrassed or whatever else she told herself when doubts pressed in too close.

Why This Must Be Read: This is my favorite multi-part post-S3 finale fic, and it's only been four chapters. The author is slowly but surely building a very compelling narrative that will leave you aching for the next update and for S4 to come pronto! It's a very creative, intriguing take on the S3 cliffhanger in relation to all the other post-finale fics out there right now.
His fingers, warm against her skin under the cool water. His touch like a photograph taken when she was a child. A memory long forgotten. His touch like winter nights and tangled sheets. His mouth pulls into a smile and he whispers something but it forms a bubble and rushes to the surface before she can hear it. She watches it float higher and higher until it disappears. And then he's gone. And she's drowning.

Why This Must Be Read: I was almost not going to include this one, because it's very Olivia-centric and perhaps a little lighter on the Peter/Olivia but the sense of loss that the author so poignantly describes can only be felt in all its harsh, unyielding magnitude if you're a Peter/Olivia fan. One of the best post-S3 finale fics hands down.
It’s like walking into a room and forgetting why. All day she pats her own pockets compulsively, keys phone Chapstick badge pen, muttering to herself, unconvinced: something’s missing but they’re always there. At night she paces the perimeter of her apartment, opening closets and cabinets, staring for long minutes into the sterile white light inside the mostly-empty fridge. She makes lists: she needs eggs, detergent, toothpaste…but none of those are it.
