Why This Must Be Read: Abigail/Kathryn is my favorite of all the OUAT princesses so I was ecstatic just to find fic for her and this certainly didn't disappoint. It's more a character study than a traditional shippy fic, focusing on the lengths to which Abigail and later Kathryn will go to find her happy ending. We haven't gotten to see much of this character in canon but the author makes excellent work of what little we've seen, expanding small details to flesh out Abigail's backstory. She perfectly captures the spirit of the woman who tried to revive her true love until her lips bled.
