WIP?: Individual stories are completed, but this is an incomplete series.
Why This Must Be Read: If you are a fan of Doyle, you simply must read these stories. You remember the wishverse episodes from Buffy? This is an extension of that AU, dealing with the characters that never met up with the Scooby Gang or Angel because of the fateful circumstances. Doyle, never having met Angel, becomes a private investigator fighting evil in LA. Then along comes Faith the Vampire Slayer, on the run from her watcher, Wesley Wyndham-Pryce. The trio then form an unlikely team for Doyle Investigations, and oh my god, the characterization and stories are stunning. In canon, Doyle knew neither Faith or Wesley, but here the writers get the interaction exactly as how it would have been.
Wonderful, wonderful AU. Cannot recommend this one enough.
