Why This Must Be Read: When I saw today's theme, I thought of CJ/Danny because this is one of those pairings who have a history before the show began. They met on the campaign trail, when this fic is set. It's a beautiful fic that shows their beginning, and how Danny is already smitten with CJ. They're in-character and the fic is perfectly done.
