Fandom Category: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Harry Potter
Pairing: Dawn Summers/Sirius Black
Fic Title: The Key to Marauding
Author: Anoron

Rating/Warning(s): R
Genre: Romance, Comedy, Sexuality
WIP?: Nope
Why This Must Be Read: The Key to Marauding is a must-read because, in it, Dawn's characterization is, quite possibly, the best and most accurate I've read. And it's not only Dawn's characterization; it's everyone's characterization. The interactions between the teenage marauders (that is, James Potter, Sirius Black, Remus Lupin, and Peter Pettigrew) and their peers, as well as their seniors, are well-written and exactly as I image they would have been. The crossover aspect is handled very well, also. Dawn blends seamlessly into the Harry Potter universe. (Part of Anoron's Marauding series)

Fic Title: Both Sides Now
Author: Anoron
Link: http://www.tthfanfic.org/story.php?no=11568
Rating/Warning(s): R
Genre: Romance, Action, Comedy, Sexuality
WIP?: Yes
Why This Must Be Read: Like it's predecessor, Both Sides Now handles characterization amazingly well and seamlessly blends the two worlds. Unlike it's predecessor, it isn't set when the marauders are teenagers, but begins during Order of the Phoenix. So far, it seems to follow canon well-enough but also bring in the crossover elements, which adds a bit of AU.
Fandom Category: Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Lord of the Rings
Pairing: Dawn Summers/Legolas
Fic Title: Forms
Author: Errant
Link: http://www.tthfanfic.org/story.php?no=1873
Rating/Warning(s): PG-13
Genre: Action, Romance, Sexuality
WIP?: Yes
Why This Must Be Read: I've read a few Dawn/Legolas fics and BtVS/LotR crossovers before and I haven't seen many that do it as well as Errant has here. As with my previous two recs, the crossover is seamless. Dawn doesn't stick out in the LotR universe like a sore thumb. While I'm not as familiar with the characters of LotR as I am with those of BtVS characterization is, again, very well done. The plot is one of the most intriguing I've read.
