Why This Must Be Read: As one of the other reviewers said, this story is a perfect protrayal of "how these character fence with language; this pairing has really inspired fandom to pay extra attention to dialogue, and that's awesome." Indeed, it is. Spock and Uhura met in a quiet bookstore, pre-movie. The characterization and dialogue is fantastic. Go and read!
