Rating/Warning(s): PG
Genre: Romance, 4 and 1
WIP?: No
Special Rec: 5/30

Why This Must Be Read: [livejournal.com profile] urban_stoop is, in my opinion, the best CJ/Danny author out there. She just writes both of them so well, and her fics have the frustration and a hint of sadness that is an important part of CJ/Danny, but are also hopeful and romantic and perfectly them. And the best part about it is that she shows Danny as more than just CJ's love interest. He's a real person, who falls in love and out of love and is confused and hopeful and happy sometimes. Her use of language and her portrayal of Africa are beautiful, and you can see why Danny falls in love so easily.

Rating/Warning(s): R
Genre: Romance, Angst, Hurt/Comfort
WIP?: No
Special Rec: 14/20

Why This Must Be Read: This is just a fic composed of different small snippets of writing that pass between Toby and Andy, and it so perfectly describes and captures their relationship through the actual fic, and even just how the fic is, it's very essence. I don't even have anything more to say about this fic. You just have to go read it for yourself.

And why not, here's some more [livejournal.com profile] urban_stoop because she writes more than just CJ/Danny

Fic Title: Fool's Gold on Legal Pads
Author: [livejournal.com profile] urban_stoop
Link: Fic this way
Rating/Warning(s): PG, vague spoilers
Genre: a little angsty, flashback, Romance
WIP?: No
Special Rec: 15/20

Why This Must Be Read: Because the Bartletts are awesome? Because pre-series, especially young, Bartletts are even awesomer? Because she does such an excellent job making this an elegant love story that you can gather together from what she gives you and just create this awesome, beautiful picture? Yes, yes, and yes.

Pairing: Kate Harper/Will Bailey
Fic Title: Too Close To Call

Link:Too Close To Call
Rating/Warning(s): K+
Genre: Romance
WIP?: No
Special Rec: 16/20

Why This Must Be Read: Totally captures the spirit of Will/Kate, and gives us the closure we never really got in the show. The subtle way she uses the house and the OCs is wonderful, and you can almost actually feel the tension from the election through the fic. This is just a wonderful little quiet fic about the two of them that sums them and their relationship up very well. Her characterization of Will, lovely, fumbling, awkward Will who loves words and Kate is particularly fabulous. Also the banter is perfect, for them and for the tone the show has in general.

Fic Title: Love Letter

Rating/Warning(s): G
Genre: romance, friendship, future!fic
WIP?: Complete.

Why This Must Be Read: At about 350 words this ficlet is short, but it flows beautifuly and and the characters are so spot that you realize additional words were not necessary to get the particulary poignancy across. Set post series it's Toby, writing the last speech of his life. And, because he's Toby, it's perfect.

Because I enjoy being weeks late for something. (And because my internet was out during this challenge.)

Josh/Donna and CJ/Toby thrown in for good measure. )
