Fandom Category: The Tudors
Pairing: Anne Boleyn/Henry VIII, Katherine of Aragon/Henry VIII
Fic Title: The Shape of Things to Come
Author: Magic Crafter

Rating/Warning(s): PG-13
Genre: AU, angst, romance
WIP?: Yes
Why This Must Be Read: I walked into this story initially wary of it, but quickly found myself enthralled. Anyone who knows the story of Henry VIII and his wives, particularly the first two, have often wondered what might have happened if just one of the sons from Henry's first marriage to Katherine of Aragon had survived infancy. This story explores that option and sends history flying down an alternate path. It's fascinating to see how the characters are shaped by the differing events. Henry is a more stable, thoughtful person -- though still so utterly Henry. Anne, whose part in the story is also quite significant, faces a very different life as Henry's queen, beginning with the fact that she isn't under extreme pressure to provide Henry with a male heir. Magic Crafter has crafted (pun intended) an amazing and excellent story, and I always cheer when a new chapter notification appears in my inbox.
