Why This Must Be Read: I've read literally two fics in the Hart of Dixie fandom, and this one is a real find. It's an AU look at Zoe's take on how she moves from being 'friends' with Wade, to being comfortable enough to 'lay her head on his shoulder'. It's a very in character exploration of the shift that happens between two people as their relationship starts to cross from one territory to the next. It's a fic about the significance of touch, basically! And it's lovely.
