Okay, regarding yesterday's SGA pairings poll results, we had a lot of diversity. I think it's worth noting that every pairing, with the one exception of Ronon/Carter, had interested readers. So, we've got across the spread interests in all types of pairings, including incredibly rare ones.

That said... Admittedly, I only know Elizabeth recs. So 5/6 of these requests, I can't do anything about. So... Uncle Sam wants YOU! Know any good fics with the below pairings? Then help a fellow member out and rec 'em, please. There's a lot of interest!

Why This Must Be Read: Summary: John blames himself for the presumed death of McKay and Weir. Meanwhile, Rodney struggles to save Elizabeth in a forgotten harbor deep in the substructure of Atlantis. S1 fic, about discovering Atlantis.

Whether you take this as overt ship, subtle ship, or just plain friendshippy, it's your interpretation. ;) I was pleasantly surprised to stumble across this fic while roaming Wraithbait.com, which turned out to be a superb story with action, mystery, and a great M/W story with a touchingly protective Rodney. Very well written, good pacing, and it played out like an episode. Good interactions between Rodney/Elizabeth, Elizabeth/John and Rodney/John. I loved how the author jumped back and forth between scenes with Sheppard worried back in Atlantis and the Rodney/Elizabeth scenes. Her interactions were spot on.

Why This Must Be Read: Because it's fun and quiet and has the characters interacting over something "everyday," in this case, breakfast. I often find beauty in the mundane things, and this fic is the perfect example of that. Jennifer displays an unexpected amount of insight into Ronon's character, and it's a pleasant, touching surprise to both him and the reader.

Why This Must Be Read: This is one of my favorite stories by one of my favorite authors. Pretty much everything Wedjatqi writes is incredible and should be checked out but the writing in this story is particularly transcendent. I am moved and blown away by the author every time I read this. If you are having a terrible day, week, year, I highly recommend this story to help restore you to equilibrium. Yes, I swear it has healing properties.
