It's the one year anniversary of het_reccers! *confetti*

peanutbutterer and I would just like to thank all those wonderful people that participated and made this comm a success. This comm is watched by over 350 people. We have well over 500 recs in over a hundred different fandoms and 300 different ships. (I counted, because I am a dork like that.) Woot!

Why This Must Be Read: This is one of the most intimate non-explicit stories I think I've ever read. bite_or_avoid does a beautiful job of showing us the push and pull of Booth and Brennan's relationship and the way they work so hard to control the brewing "something" between them until it boils over and becomes something else altogether.

On the off chance that there are other people on this comm who enjoy pairings *other* than Mulder/Scully on The X-Files, I thought I'd throw out a few of my favorite unconventional pairing fics. :-) For the die-hard MSR fans, though? I'd *still* say give these a try. Some of them don't even involve Mulder or Scully at all, and those that do are *very* respectful of the MSR 'ship.
