Hi! Welcome to all the newcomers. Glad for the participation and enthusiasm. Since this is such a busy comm sometimes, and one that is heavily organized and moderated, it would help everyone considerably if all posters please carefully read our profile for rules and regulations.

To highlight (in brief):
1. Rule #2: No bashing characters, pairings, or lj-users.
2. Rule #5: Please use LJ-cuts when posting more than one fic rec per post.
3. In reccing: Please title the subject line appropriately. If there's only one rec, then title it "Title by Author (Rating)." If there's more than one rec, then you can do "Fandom, # of recs, pairing."
4. Rule #6: Please don't spam. Also, no need to repeat recs. ;)
5. Rule #8: Reccers are encouraged to tag their own fic recs by inserting available tags for fandom and pairing. If an appropriate tag is not available, then mods will get to creating them soonish. ;)

Also, it has not been a stated rule before, but I'm adding one other now:

1. If the fic has character death, rape (including non-con and dub-con), torture, hardcore kinks, etc., then you warn explicitly for them. I understand some authors don't warn for that type of stuff, but I would like this comm to cater to warnings as best they can. (Also, if you see a rec here that is not properly labled with warnings, please feel free to contact one of the mods and we'll see to the issue. Thank you for your cooperation!)

The full rules are available in detail in our profile. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask. There's less than ten rules, and they're really not hard to follow. It helps considerably when we put entries into memories and navigate through 500+recs. peanutbutterer and I - not to mention the other members of this comm - greatly appreciate your time and effort!

Why This Must Be Read:I never imagined I'd particularly enjoy a fic where the two protagonists spend a good portion of the story apart, but through lilyayl's well-crafted story, that's never a problem. We follow Penny as she strikes out on her own, leaving the boys in apartment 4A with a terribly brief note, giving no explanation for her sudden departure from there world. As she begins her life anew, we begin to see how much she was affected by her time living across the hall from geniuses, and Penny as well as the reader are able to see first hand how special her relationship with Dr. Sheldon Cooper, Ph.D really is.
