Why This Must Be Read: To me, it's pretty original for a PatF fanfic. And it's interesting. Charlotte grows up and Facilier gets development.  There's a tint of mystery and innocence to it that I espcially adore.

Why This Must Be Read:  I was so pleased to stumble on this!  It's so rare to find a Disney character piece that's so well-written, thoughtful and chalk full of action.  This story explores Jasmine as a fierce leader and the lengths she'll go to protect her city.  However, the longer she intently studies her enemy she finds herself drawn in by the mystery and power surrounding him.  Here's the official summary:

Why This Must Be Read: Bert and Mary meet again during the Blitz. It's lyrical and lovely, bittersweet and understated. I also love the historical touches--I've been reading a bit about the Blitz lately and have been just knocked off my feet by some of the things I've learned. This fits in perfectly with all those little details about life during the attacks and the way people responded to them while still keeping the characters so quintessentially themselves. Heck, I don't even really read Mary Poppins fic, but I'm glad I took a chance on this one. :-)
